What areas do you cover?

We cover Whitestown and surrounding areas. Most local sub-divisions, Walker Farms, Anson, Stonegate, Royal Run, Eagles Nest and the Enclave

Are you Insured and Bonded?

Yes. Kim & Jim Pet Care are fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates LLC.

What notice do I have to give?

We would always welcomee a day or two notice for most bookings. We will always do our best to accommodate last minute bookings. However, during peak times such as Thanksgiving, Christmas etc. It is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

What types of payment do you accept?

At the moment we accept cash or check only. We will be able to accept credit cards in the very near future. 

Do you charge for more than one dog or if I have dogs and cats and want you to look after them all when I go on vacation?

If dogs are from same household then no. We usually recommend a longer walk time if more than one or two dogs to ensure they all get a quality walk. We also only charge a set rate per visit per household when pet sitting, irrespective of how many dogs, cats, other small animals you have. This is a very cost effective way of caring for you pets when you go away on vacation. 

Do you charge a cancellation fee?

No. Kim and Jim Pet Care do not believe in cancellation fees as things happen outside our control. 

Do you walk on weekends and holidays?

We only offer dog walking and potty breaks during week. However, if you are going out of town then we will of course walk them on pet sitting rates.

Do you administer medication?

We will administer basic medication at no additional charge. We will always discuss you pets medical history to ensure we are able to provide assistance when needed.

What is your policy for inclement weather?

Come rain or shine we will normally continue business. However, in the case of extreme weather conditions, we will contact you to discuss alternatives. In addition to our own safety when having to travel, we will always put the best interest of your pet first.

How do I get my house key to you?

We will collect a key as well as a garage code before service begins. This can sometimes be at the registration/consultation meeting. Our priority is the security of your home so all keys/information is held in a safe in our office and will be returned at end of service or as arranged.
